Marnie Ehlers is a Tucson based jewelry artist. She has been teaching jewelry making classes for over 15 years including classes at Metal Clay by the Bay, an international conference in 2014, and the JOGS Gem and Mineral Show in 2013. Marnie was a Tech-expo presenter for the 2008 International Precious Metal Clay Guild conference at Purdue University, featuring her unrivaled metal clay syringe technique and she was a finalist in the 2016 International Bead Dreams contest, Metal clay category.
Her work is featured in Contemporary Metal Clay Rings, the PMC guild Annual 2011, and the 2010 and 2112 Art and Designs of Metal Clay Jewelry calendars. She is a certified artist with Rio Grande, PMC Connection and Camp Metal Clay and is Art Clay certified with Art Clay World, Inc.
Marnie is a graduate of the California Institute of Jewelry Training in Carmichael, California. She has worked with jewelers in Spokane, Washington; the Azores islands, Portugal; and Sacramento, California. She worked as a bench jeweler before moving to Tucson, AZ and opening Good Muse Designs jewelry studio. Her passion is helping others discover their own creative voice by teaching jewelry making and metal clay classes.
Marnie's work has been displayed at Gay Odmark's gallery in Sun Valley Idaho, at the Westin La Paloma gift shop, and the Krikawa Jewelry Art Gallery, Many Hands Cooperative Gallery, all in Tucson, AZ. She is presently at the Southern AZ Arts Guild Gallery at La Encantada, Tucson AZ.
