Camp Metal Clay Certification courses are designed to allow students to progress through metal clay learning with the techniques and pace they desire. Artisans may select artisan courses applicable to the designs they wish to create. Instructors may select artisan or instructor courses to suit their individual needs. Students may start with Camp Metal Clay Course 101 or Course B101 Project X Base Metals.
COURSES
COURSE 101
In this two-day course, students will learn all of the fundamental skills required to work with metal clays and be successful with silver metal clay products.
INSTRUCTOR COURSE 201
AND COURSE 301
These courses teach students, who are interested in becoming instructors, to hold successful workshops, develop projects and curricula and certify students in the Camp Metal Clay Certification Program.
After completion of Camp Metal Clay Foundations Course 101, students can enroll in any of the artisan courses designed to allow them to focus on specific techniques.
FIRST-STEP
TORCH FIRED EARRINGS
This class is designed as a quick introduction to the Camp Metal Clay Certification Program. Once a student completes this earring project it can be applied toward Course 101 certification.
COURSE B101
This two-day course covers techniques using Project X Base Metal Clays including Copper, Red Bronze, Bronze, Light Bronze and White Bronze.
